The 2006 reunion, hosted by Cecil Brown and Dick Blanchard, was held in Dayton, Ohio at the Hope Hotel & Conference Center (www.hopehotel.com) located at gate 12 of Wright-Patterson AFB. Our planning committee, consisting of Cecil Brown, Doc Blanchard, Pete Durnell and Vern Akers, met in early June'05 and conducted a site survey, met with the Hope Hotel staff, coordinated with staff points of contact at the National Park Service--National Air Force Museum--and the Greene County Visitors & Convention Center. Connie Akers, Leah Blanchard and Phyllis Brown made valuable inputs during the planning of menus and offsite tours.

        Ken and Beverly Kelly made a follow-up visit a couple of days following the planning committee meeting and provided additional insight into the planning of audio visual support.  We would like to recognize the "behind the scenes efforts" of those folks who assisted us in this planning effort; Monique "Hope Hotel" Love, Jane "Events Planner" Leach, Julia "NPS Ranger" Frasure and Kathleen "Convention Center" Young.  These folks played significant roles in weaving this planning effort into an event to be remembered.

A preliminary reunion notice was mailed to the membership in July'05.
