The Reunion hotel is the CROWNE PLAZA RIVERWALK located at 111 East Pecan Street, San Antonio, Texas 78205.   Our room rate is $109.00 per night plus tax which is currently 16.75% - this is especially good for downtown San Antonio.  Please make your hotel reservations directly with the Crowne Plaza at 1-888-623-2800 and be sure to tell them that you are attending the 67RTS Association 5^th Bi-Annual Reunion.  At the time of your reservations let the hotel know the names of guests, requested room type and bed type (king, queen/queen or suites).  If you plan to stay for the Friday tour to Lackland AFB then be sure to reserve your room(s) to cover that extra day.  Room reservations must be made no later than 30 days prior to your arrival – which would be April 3^rd, 2008.

If you are driving, the hotel has parking adjacent to the hotel but it is operated by a company different from the hotel and a per day parking fee will be charged.  Check with the hotel to see what the rates are closer to the time.  The hotel phone number is different than the room reservation number so call them at 210-354-2800.

If you are flying into San Antonio, then transportation to the hotel can be by SATRANS Airport Express.  Shuttle tickets are sold curbside, outside the baggage area at both Terminal 1 and 2.  Shuttles depart approximately every 15 minutes.  The cost in 2007 is $12 each way for a round trip ticket ($24 total) and will take you directly to the Crowne Plaza.  Please check their web site to get the most current information. You can also download a $2 coupon from the web site.

Although we will have a RiverWalk boat tour you will probably want to get to the River Walk area at other times.  The Crowne Plaza hotel is located on the San Antonio River and there is a river taxi that comes by the hotel’s landing point periodically.  Check in the hotel’s gift shop for tickets.  The River Taxi operates much like any taxi except if you get an all-day ticket you can hop on and off at will.  The river taxi will take you directly to the heart of the River Walk area for dining and shopping as well as the RiverCenter Mall.  See www.riosanantonio.com for more information.

For those that are interested, Hospitality Tours of San Antonio operates a “Military Homecoming Air Force” tour which is only on Fridays and runs from 8 AM to 2 PM.  This tour will take you to the parade fields of Lackland AFB where you will be escorted to reserved seating for the parade.  Following the parade you will tour a display of USAF aircraft and then go to the Base Air Force Heritage Museum.  A luncheon is included, usually at the Lackland AFB Club.  The tour price in 2006 was $42 per person and includes transportation, guide, luncheon, parade coordination, and taxes.  Check this out at www.sahospitalitytours.com.   This is NOT part of our reunion so arrangements will be made separately.  Please indicate your interest in this on the Reunion registration form so it can be coordinated.
