67RTS Association Reunion 2008

It is time once again to turn your mind toward our bi-annual 67^th Reconnaissance Technical Squadron reunion.  This will be our fifth reunion and, as has been said, they keep getting better and better.  At the last reunion during our Association meeting it was decided to hold the 2008 reunion in San Antonio, Texas.  I am happy to announce that this has now been planned, the site visited, reunion arrangements made, and we are now ready to start taking registrations.  So here is what’s in store for you:

TIMES ARE TENTATIVE – FINAL TIMES TO BE ANNOUNCED CLOSER TO THE REUNION

Sunday, May 4                  Arrival.  Registration begins at 4 PM in the Hospitality Room.

Monday, May 5                  Registration from 12 noon until 6 PM, Hospitality all day.

Time to explore San Antonio, the Alamo, and the downtown River Walk area (www.SanAntonioVisit.com)

Tuesday, May 6                Time TBD              Narrated water tour of the River Walk area via Rio San Antonio.

                                         12 – 2 PM               Lunch on your own in the River Walk area.

                                           2 – 5 PM               Visit the Alamo and/or Market Square on your own

                                           6:30 PM                Cash Bar at Crowne Plaza

                                           7:15 PM                “Heart of Texas” Texas BBQ dinner buffet

Wednesday, May 7            9 – 12 AM             67RTS Association business meeting – everyone welcome

                                           Noon – 1 PM        Lunch on your own

1:30 PM (Est)       Tour of the Missions of San Antonio (Mission Concepcion, Mission San Jose’, and Mission Espada)

6:00 PM:               Cash Bar at Crowne Plaza

7:00 PM:               The ‘Tex-Mex” dinner Fajitas Al Carbon.

Thursday, May 8                8 AM                     Breakfast at the Crowne Plaza (no-host)

                                          11 AM                    Checkout and departure

Friday, May 9                     8AM – 2PM            OPTIONAL – Military Homecoming Air Force at Lackland AFB                                       (This cost $42 per person in 2006 – see information on reverse)
